Description
The Statue of King Karl X Gustav of Sweden is located on Stortorget, the main square in Malmö, Sweden. It was created by the Danish sculptor Johannes Wiedewelt and was erected in 1896. The statue depicts King Karl X Gustav on horseback, wearing a suit of armor and holding a sword.
King Karl X Gustav was the king of Sweden from 1654 to 1660. He was a skilled military leader and expanded Sweden’s territory during his reign. He is considered to be one of the greatest Swedish kings.
