I was fortunate to be born into a happy, yet poor family. The daily struggle to fulfill life’s necessities, along with my strong moral and ethical principles, fostered the development of my creativity and imagination. As a result, I possess a broad range of skills and have worked in various fields, including as a technician (holding a graduate engineering degree), electronics lecturer, journalist, photographer, IT consultant, manager, and graphic designer. Since 2014, I have been working as a freelance IT consultant, painter, photographer, and publicist.
I developed my artistic style through years of learning, experimenting, and observation. In my paintings, I strive to be free from conventions or rules, and instead, choose my technique based on the inspiration in the moment, whether it be acrylic, oil, or a combination. My works reflect my view of life and the environment, as well as my emotional state – a mirror of my being. To me, the process of artistic creation is a mysterious “fourth dimension” of existence.
In essence, I explore the world of colors because, to me, art is the best means to promote universal social values. The diversity and harmony of colors serve as a testament to the possibility of diversity and cooperation.
Art shapes my life path because, in addition to aesthetics, it presents socio-political movements, processes, evolution and the development of civilization, culture, conscience, and morality. Art is also the portrayal of historical events. Conversely, I have experienced the most difficult aspects of life, such as political persecution and the tragic death of my son. Through art, I have learned to seek positive inspiration, focus on the positive side, and ensure that my art has a positive impact on the environment.
I connected my love for photography with my technical education and competencies. I went through the path of creation through commercial photography, street, fashion, people, portraits or weddings. As a photographer-artist, I had several solo exhibitions in the genre of art photography. As an artist I seek perfection and beauty. I worked as a fashion photographer for years, and I found universal beauty in my models.
Not only my photographs and paintings, but also my artistic engagement in general reflects my relationship to the world and art. Together with my team, we organized several solo and group exhibitions for other painters. Within the agency MerisCon ARTDesign, there is also an online art magazine called MAGistral (bhmag.net), which I founded in 2017. Over 200 artists from around the world are regular members of the MerisCon ART Community.
